Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

EHS Consulting Network | Early-Stage Marketplace

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on CMO to own growth, positioning, and demand generation for a live EHS consulting marketplace. This is a builder role—not a brand-only seat. You’ll turn existing traction (community + platform) into scalable, repeatable growth.

What You’ll Own
  • Go-to-market strategy for a two-sided marketplace (businesses + consultants)
  • Demand generation, funnels, and conversion (not vanity metrics)
  • Brand positioning that emphasizes trust, credibility, and authenticity
  • Content, community, and lifecycle marketing tied directly to revenue
  • Messaging for sales enablement and partnerships
  • KPI definition, attribution, and performance tracking
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience scaling SaaS, marketplaces, or services
  • Strong operator mindset—comfortable executing, testing, and iterating
  • Ability to work closely with CRO (sales-led growth model)
  • Clear communicator who can simplify complex value propositions
  • Comfortable in early-stage ambiguity and ownership
Nice to Have
  • Experience marketing to regulated or technical industries
  • Community-led or trust-based growth experience
  • Marketplace or services background
